| The links in this Legal Issues section are designed to give the reader a better understanding of the legal rights and duties of the Board of Directors of Brandywine Owners Association. The Board is responsible for the day to day management of the community as well as the enforcement of the Restrictive Covenants. This enforcement is not an option; it is a duty of the Board. This enforcement assures the consistency of the community as well as maintaining property values. The North Carolina Planned Community Act gives the Board broad powers to establish rules and regulations in the community as well as the ability to enforce them with penalties and the right to attach a lien to an owners property. | |||||||||
